Client Brief
The client required a Middle Office PnL Reporting solution, which integrated with the underlying ETRM system. The aim was to enable executive level reporting, whilst also allowing Middle Office users to enter adjustments, comments and sign off on the PnL.
KWA Solution
The solution was based on the MSBI stack, with an Angular Web Front end GUI to allow integration of the MSBI dashboards and entry of the adjustments/comments that the functionality required. This included two way communication with the underlying ETRM system. It also has a dedicated security and signoff model. This solution provided an ergonomic and user friendly solution to the Clients brief, where the solution previously had involved multiple screens and points of contact with the underlying system. It also gave a transparency to the PnL reporting which previously had not been possible.
