KWA Analytics, a leading provider of C/ETRM consulting and delivery services, today announced the appointment of Mike Gallagher as Head of AI Services – Openlink Delivery Practice, a strategic addition that further strengthens the firm’s capabilities in AI-enabled delivery services for commodity management solutions.
Mike brings decades of experience spanning enterprise software, energy and commodities trading, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, and technology innovation. He previously served as Chief Technology Officer at Openlink Financial, where he played a pivotal leadership role in the architecture, development, and evolution of the Openlink platform, including Endur and Findur, helping establish it as the leading commodity and energy trading and risk management platform used across the industry.
Following Openlink’s acquisition by ION, Mike held senior engineering and technology leadership roles, driving cloud, SaaS, and platform initiatives across the company’s commodity management software portfolio.
Alongside his leadership in platform engineering and product innovation, Mike has developed deep expertise in the practical application of Artificial Intelligence within the C/ETRM sector. He has been at the forefront of exploring how emerging technologies – including agentic AI, AI-assisted software development, intelligent testing, and operational automation – can accelerate delivery cycles, improve software quality, reduce operational overhead, and enhance outcomes for energy and commodity trading organizations.
In his new role at KWA, Mike will lead the firm’s AI strategy for the Openlink Delivery Practice, focusing on embedding Artificial Intelligence throughout the C/ETRM delivery lifecycle – from implementation and testing through operations, support, managed services, and platform modernization. His mission is to combine KWA’s deep Openlink expertise with practical AI innovation to deliver measurable improvements in project execution, operational efficiency, and client value.
